On Tuesday, April 24th all ninth, tenth and eleventh graders at Sunset High School will be taking a version of the ACT.  Testing will begin at 7:45am and conclude at 12:30pm.  Lunch will be served from 12:30-1pm and buses are scheduled to leave Sunset at 1:10pm. Students should leave all electronics at home, as no cellphones or headphones are allowed to be used at the testing site.  Students will not be allowed to come late or leave early due to testing rules.  Please encourage students to get a good night of sleep and to do their very best on the test.

The Graduation page has been updated with important information for all our Senior Grads.  Access the page by clicking on the Graduation link under Apollo Links.

The Excellence in Education Award was created by Sunset’s Booster Club
to honor the contributions made by Sunset High School’s many fine staff members
and to publicly express the value the Sunset community places on education as a
profession. Supported this year by both the Booster Club and The Oregon Clinic,
the award will include a $1,500 cash prize that can be used for professional
development purposes.

David Choi / silver in the art category

Madi will be headed to Carnegie Hall, NYC to celebrate her achievement.
(Overall, the state of OR won 10 golds and 28 silvers)
